日本富山國際海報三年展始創於1985年，由富山縣立藝術與設計博物館主辦，每三年舉辦一屆，目前已連續舉辦12屆。展覽旨在徵集、評審、選拔全世界最新最優秀的海報，如今，已成為國際上最具聲譽的海報比賽及展覽之一，該賽事每屆均擁有大量的高水平參賽者。

The International Poster Triennial in Toyama [IPT] is an international open call exhibition, the only of its kind in Japan, in which new posters from around the globe are submitted for screening and selection. Since its inception in 1985, the event has been held once every three years in a triennial, and now garners worldwide attention in the field of design.
