NAUGHTY ROLL DESIGN SHOW 2O2O

The Naughty Roll Design Show marks the brand's inaugural exhibition, serving as both a retrospective of past creations and a visionary exploration of future possibilities. During the conceptualization of the exhibition's central visual identity, we arrived at a profound realization: imperfection inherently permeates all aspects of progression. This truth manifests equally in the organic irregularities of risograph printing techniques and in the beautifully flawed narratives of our individual lives.

Embracing this philosophy, we ultimately developed a whimsical yet thoughtful design language to articulate the thematic concept that "imperfection constitutes an essential dimension of existence." Through deliberately imperfect 3D-rendered letterforms and illustrated characters performing mundane activities with absurdist flair, we've crafted a visual symphony celebrating life's delightful imperfections. This intentional fusion of techniques—each contributing its own brand of controlled chaos—results in an aesthetic that balances playful levity with meaningful commentary. At its core, the exhibition extends an invitation: to approach life's inevitable imperfections with the same joyful humor and creative resilience embodied in every carefully "imperfected" design element.
